How you ever tried breaking into an iOS device? Well, if you did, you already know how secure an iOS device can be (Yeah, ignore those 123456 or 000000 passcodes). Now, in this article, I'm going to throw off some light on the security of iOS. Is it really worth your money? Let's find out!
Apple takes the security of their iDevices very seriously. They are the one who introduced Touch ID to the world with their iPhone 5S. Not to mention, they refused to help FBI to unlock an iPhone which belonged to a terrorist. What I'm trying to say is, yes! iOS provides a great security and stability. But there exists some bugs & exploits with which intruders can access your personal information. If you're a tech geek, you might already know that there are tons of iOS lock screen bypasses. I agree that Apple fixes those pesky bugs as soon as they are discovered and that's totally fine because "Any operating system is not fully secure." After all, it's developed by human programmers and we already know we are masters when it comes to committing mistakes! Furthermore, if you're on a jailbroken iOS version then well done! Your iDevice has 78% more risk of getting hacked than those iDevices which are not jailbroken (Yeah, I'm a bit sarcastic).
On the other hand, iOS apps have to take permission first before accessing the personal data of users which makes iOS privacy-friendly. Also, if an app is tracking your location in the background, we get a pop saying that a certain app is using location services in the background. Oh, and how can we forget those timely system updates that make iOS even more secure.
According to me, iOS is really secure if you have not messed up with Cydia or malware apps. It's truly worth every penny. Thanks, Apple, for providing efficient security and stability in iOS! Every Apple Fanboy can eat their double cheese Margherita pizza without worrying about getting their device hacked. What's your take? Let me know in the comments!
